We have stayed here on Isle of Palm twice. It is very quaint, quiet, and relaxing. Many small places to dine and moderately priced. If you need your city fix, you are just a hop, skip, and a bridge away from all the hustle and bustle you need. Charleston is such a historic place, you will never tire of finding things to do.
We have been there during the summer and the winter, and both are charming times of the year. The winter holidays were fantastic seeing downtown Charleston in her holiday lights. It is worth the trip for the history alone, but also for the relaxation on the Isle of Palm.
