Two eighteen hole golf courses are located in West Village at the main pool complex. If your family enjoys miniature golf, then I would suggest the weekly pass. For $23 dollars you can purchase a weekly pass that allows up to eight people/unit to play as often as they like. Your only other option is paying $3/game. The weekly rate is well worth the price. For an additional registration fee, you can elect to play in one of the two tournaments that are offered on a weekly basis; one of these is Midnight Madness, all lights are turned off, the holes and balls are lighted.
This is one of my family's favorite activities while at Orange Lake. The weekly pass pays for itself after about the third day there.
The Recreation Center:
The rec center is also located in West Village. It is a huge complex that houses the main check-in, ticket counters for discounts rates at local attractions, and efficiency units on the upper level.. The lower level includes a general store, Kemmon's Place restaurant, Paison Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor, a game arcade, a weight room, a 100-seat theater, shuffleboard courts outside, and multiple tables in a game area that can be used to play card or board games. Boards games can be checked out at the guest services window.
The 100-seat theater is free of charge and shows three movies/day, beginning in the afternoon.
