There were eight of us at the San Luis Bay Inn. It got a little crowded but two stayed a couple of days and then another two left 2 days after that.
We were one of the lucky ones to have a view of the beach. Some units have better views than others.
The continental breakfast in the morning is NOT worth waking up for. They say it is from 9am - 9:30 but all the food was gone by 9:15. They know the food runs out and they tell you to get there early, instead of knowing they run out and ordering more. They do have some giveaway prices for those who show but for us, it wasn't worth the long wait in line for orange juice that they ran out of shortly afterward.
They used to have a restaurant on-site but it is no longer there. They do, however, have a deli where you can purchase snacks. It comes in handy as the nearest store is about 5 miles away.
Since the walks can be long to your unit, they offer luggage carriers. They make the trip less stressful. Beware the elevator is very slow. It will eventually get you there.
The condo area is very pretty. The pool is wonderful and they keep it very clean. They have plenty of activities. My father-in-law and husband participated in the all you can eat $6 tacos. They enjoyed it. They play soft, beachy music as you dine.
