The town is situated in the south of Tenerife about 30 minutes from the Airport. Most of the timeshare resorts are on the hill overlooking the city on the east.
Los Cristianos city centre is closed to traffic, with wide pedestrian footpaths with many shops, cafes, and restaurants lining it.
Boat trips from the harbor to see whales and dolphins also include a journey along the coast and a swim in a remote bay.
The beach is by the harbor and is long with a wide variety of activities to offer. Behind the beach is a wide promenade that runs along it.
Every Sunday there is an outdoor market offering everything from watches and jewelery to clothes and music, but it does get crowded so use common sense and don’t flash your money around.
There are many nightclubs in the nearby Playa de las Americas, so most people tend to relax in Los Crisianos, watching the world go by from one of the many restaurants in the city centre.
