We took State Highway 7, nicknamed "Scenic 7". It goes through the Arkansas Grand Canyon. It must be beautiful when the leaves are changing and when the sky is clear. I recommend you get the information folder ahead of time or you can contact the Scenic 7 Byway Assn at 870-366-4230, or search the Internet. We ate lunch at the Cliff House. It had excellent lunch prices ($3-$6) with fantastic views of the canyon. The Cliff House also has rooms for $50. The staff was very friendly. I recommend the "Company's Coming" dessert pie. They claim it's the Arkansas State dessert. The Cliff House is not the tourist trap it could be.
