For anyone who has seen the movie "Hoosiers", you will be familiar with the excitement of basketball in a small Indiana town. This can be witnessed at New Harmony School, the smallest public high school in the state, with about 80 students. Each winter, the boys and girls teams battle schools with as many as 10 times more students than New Harmony. If you see a game, you may feel like you are seeing a real life version of the David and Goliath story, and will surely find yourself cheering for the underdog. When it comes time for the state tournament, the whole town pulls together to support the teams. If you are interested in seeing a game, just ask any local for a schedule - it´s the top entertainment in town!
