This was a stop on a two week car trip up the coast of California from L.A. to San Fransico. We stopped where ever we got tired and San Luis Obispo was attractive and close to Hearst Castle. It was a great town and we enjoyed some local fare by being there on Thursday when they have their Farmers Market which is great fun. There are local farmers selling their goods as well as street performers and things to eat. It was a nice suprise addition to our visit to the community.
It was good place to stop to see the mission and the castle. There was good dinning available and was a great stopping point.
