When we arrived in Darwin we were met by a chauffered limosine. Our driver took us directly to the hotel, giving us a short tour of the area before dropping us off.
We booked The Morning Territory Wildlife Park Tour, The Afternoon Crocodile Cruise Tour, The One Day Kakadu National Park Tour and The One Day Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls Tour.
The Territory tour was incredible. We walked in an elevated rain forest to the top of the trees, we walked underwater via a tunnel to see the aquarium, we watched the "Birds of Prey" demonstration, We also walked with the wallabys.
The Afternoon Crocodile tour was the big hit. The boys absolutely loved it. The crocodiles actually jump from the water! We later toured the crocodile farm and ate crocodile and frys!
Katherine Gorge was breathtaking. The tour included stopping at Adelaide River War Cemetary, Edith Falls, where you can swim, and a phenomenal cruise down the gorge.
In Kukadu National Park we saw Aboriginal Rock Art, wildlife galore, saltwater crocodiles and the Warradjian Aboriginal Cultural Center.
