Okay..you know how it is when you visit family. Our kids, native Californians are so impressed with their grandparents basement. They really enjoy playing ping pong in the basement. Also, our daughter learned how to do dishes by hand (grandma doesn't have an automatic dishwasher) and thought it was really fun! Another exciting adventure is to watch grandma wash clothes with her whirlpool wringer washer. I kid you not! She uses a wringer. She's 72 and does circles around me with her energy (I'm 45).
She also cooks like all Polish mothers..(great food)..So we get spoiled by all these things when we go to Michigan each year!
