When we visited Liechtenstein we discovered that it is a country that doesn't protect its borders. We were disappointed because one of the things we looked forward to was getting our passports stamped in every country we visited. We also discovered that Liechtenstein doesn't even have an army. Apparently the Swiss take care of that for them. Once in the capital, Vaduz, we discovered that the Post Office has an official passport ink stamp that we could get stamped in our passport for about one US dollar. We each got one and can now proudly display one of the prettiest stamps in our passport. It is oval and has a royal crown and the date.
