We had the opportunity to go to a "native''s" home. The whole back of the house was glass walls overlooking a pool with jutting red/gold/orange rocks of Sedona rising like some grand mountain beyond. What an incredible view! The house, like most there, was stucco, no crown molding, but carved out cuppolas for sculpture works. Very open and tiled throughout. There is what they call desert landscaping with drip irrigation to water the plants, no sprinkler systems here. You could hear coyotes howling at dusk. Lots of retirees here from all over the world. I can see why. The weather is beautiful, your surroundings stunning and is is certainly off the beaten track. Artsy community.
