I went diving with Lion Heart Diving Center which will also train and certify you, if you aren't already. They pick you up at the hotel about 8:00am and take you to the marina where everyones boats are tied up. Here, you walk across people's boats, about four, until you reach the dive boat.

Our first day we went to Infinity Reef which was about a 30 minute boat trip north of Hurghada. The guide comes over to each diver personally and draws a map of where you will be diving, where the boat is in relation, the depths, and lastly what you most like see.

There was brain coral, finger coral and ribbon coral which looks like a piece of lace. (I thought it was trash, it was so delicate) There were nudibranchs, gorgonoian fans, butterfly fish, trigger fish, parrot fish and more. But what really took the prize was the eel. Now I have seen eel before but not with a circumference of 15 inches. And the fact that the guide rub it like you would a dog. He tried to guide my hand to do the same, but I withdrew. When he first pointed out, my eyes nearly bugged out of my head. And he thinks I'm going to pet it?

The water was chilly and I was glad for the wetsuit provided. A two tank dive which takes up the entire day costs about 150LE.
