One of the highlights of any trip to Nassau is a ride through the streets in a carriage.
The carriages are located at Rawson Square, which is a short walk from the pier.
Our driver on the day we took the ride was a real hustler. In addition to wanting to be paid for giving us the ride, he wanted extra money for telling us the history of Nassau as we took the ride.
He also wanted extra money if we took his picture so that is the reason the picture with this entry only shows his backside.
But even though the ride ended up costing me about $25, it was entirely worth it, although we did not do it again on our second visit to Nassau.
