These three towns are better suited to the tourist who likes ammenities. All are ready for tour groups and can service all needs.
Murren is equipped with up to date facilities, a grocery store, ATM and high prices.
Lauterbrunnen is at the base of the valley and most easily accesible. However, all 'Swiss' activities require extra money to get up into the mountains. It, too, is ready for tour groups because it is the only village that can be reached by bus.
Grindelwald is in another valley looking at the Jungfrau. It is wildly popular with Japanese tour groups and has all that you'd expect from a tourist town. If you want to be the Swiss Alps, but never actually venture into them, then Grindelwald is for you.
