This stretch of highway follows Oregon Hwy 138 along a beautiful stretch of the North Umpqua River. This narrow canyon is a wonderful place for fly-fishing for steelhead trout. The scenery is outstanding and there are lots of places where you can stop and hike the beautiful North Umpqua Trail. There are several picnic areas with access to whitewater rafting and kayaking.
This is one of the most spectacular drives in Southern Oregon; so if you have the time, don't miss it!!
