There is a wonderful trip starting in Bad Salzschlirf and ending in Schlitz.
Roundtrip: 18 km.
We were fortunate enough to borrow two bikes from friends so didn't have to rent them, although rentals are available in both Bad Salzschlirf and Schlitz.
It's an easy trip taking you through the countryside. The scenery in this area is rolling hills, farmlands and along the way you'll pass thru the villages of Angersbach and Lauterbach as you make your way to Schlitz. The surrounding "Bergs" (hills) average 1300' to 1500' and make a wonderful backdrop as you cycle along the auto-free path.
