At eighty-five acres, Oak Thicket is bigger than Park Prairie and has more campsites with RV hookups, showers, a lighted pavilion and a playground. Oak Thicket has a sandy beach where the lake gently laps to shore. The Rice-Osborne Bird and Nature Trail connects the two parks.
