The local police force

During the summer of '96 there was a bit of unrest in Northern Ireland. It seems that the natives are not too keen on British rule. Well, some of them anyway. In an effort to keep the peace, police were making a substantial physical appearance in the streets. There were water tanks on street corners and police strolling about with very large, very impressive guns. We didn't take pictures of them, but we did get directions to Pizza Hut from one of them. Nice chap.
