Clearwater is a very clean, very warm,
very sunny destination. The beaches
are sandy white and the water is crystal
clear. The beach offers umbrellas and
deckchairs for $3 per hour. It is
backed by many luxury hotels, souvenir
shops and restaurants. I went in May and
didn't experience any crowding at all.
I easily booked accomodations upon arrival
and was very satisfied with the outcome.
This town is perfect for a beach vacation.
Family fun is to be found easily, nearby
at Busch Gardens in Tampa. There are a
variety of seafront towns to explore in
the area with sponge-diving tours and
quaint little Greek coffe shops offering
all varieties of Greek pastries. Clearwater
is a laid back little beach town, perfect
for winding down in after a trip to Orlando.
May and June are the best time to visit as
the heat is still at bay.
