We have finally arrived in Venasque late at night! It's very good to finally be in the South of France, and especially nice to stay with Nicolas and Diane who are such generous hosts.
Venasque is an ancient village perched on a small hill. At night, the only sign of the village is a small light on the church steeple. The outline of Mt. Ventoux is in the distance, and the stars are plentiful out here and the air is cool and quiet.
