Key West Stories and Tips

Key West—Around Town

Dolphin statue in Marathon Photo, Key West, Florida

Key West is filled with culture and entertainment. Now, we did not stay in Key West for very long, so my knowledge of all the activities is limited. I do know, however, that I saw tons of things to do and see and places to eat.

When we went to the beach, there were all kinds of rentals: boats, chairs, rafts, bikes, etc. There are also many tours available, like boat and bus/trolley tours, and you can also go for day trips to some of the other islands and keys.

Key West has several little shops and stores, and the streets are filled with them. I got he feeling that the best thing to do is walk up and down the streets checking out all the little stores and shops. Key West seems like a tight-knit community and a very casual and relaxed place to go. The people are nice and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Like I said, my knowledge is limited, but I hope to go back some day and experience it more. It was a joy to experience what little I did.
