  • Chic, but Small

Quote: Upside is the chic lounge and restaurant. Downsides are the rooms are very small (yes I know its NYC, but still), noise from the street and the air conditioner, and the non-smoking room had a odd smell. Overall a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to stay there.

Quote: quiet, peaceful environment. location excellent to walk to Little Italy and China Town. Great shopping opportunities all ranges of expense. Great food - no need to leave the hotel. I real get away if that is waht you need. A sanctuary at the end of a bussy day.

Quote: Great lobby & bar, but ultry tiny rooms. Friendly staff, but a bit pretentious. Best thing about it is the location. Within a block of lots of restaurants and bars, and very close to the subway stops. We've stayed in midtown at much less expensive places with rooms that were bigger and decorated just as nicely. But overall, we would stay at Soho Grand again.

Quote: The decor, amenities, staff, comfort -- everything is superior. SoHo Grand is a beautiful, well- kept, funky hotel. It's not your usual bestwestern BS. Rooms are roomy (for NYC), furniture is art deco-ish (as well as the entire hotel). Staff is helpful enough not to look like they're not New Yorkers. Food and drinks are great. I would definitely come back again. Had a great time staying there.
