Quote: Rod Run Photo - Travelodge Redding, Redding, California I read all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor and thought I'd give this place a shot. Was I glad I did! The place I normally would stay in Redding was about $40.00 more a night and the rooms were almost the same. The thing that really made the difference for me was the girls at the front desk they were so helpful and even recommended one of the best places to eat we had on our trip.

The place was layed out well. Very secure feeling and my wife thought it was the cleanest place we've ever stayed in. The pool was heated and it was just right. We enjoyed the spa and they had a few pieces of workout equipment (the wife used-ha) plus a good sized TV we watched while inn the tub.

The breakfast offering at the place next door was very good. We will come back for sure.

Quote: Although it's near other hotels and a few other restaurants, it's not on a "strip" and the mall area is a short drive away. The restaurants near it were practically deserted at 6 p.m. on a Wednesday night, which made me wonder. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, but that's about all there is worth mentioning.

Quote: When a party broke out at 1:00 AM, we found it impossible to contact the front desk to deal with the party going on in their parking lot. They failed to take responsibily and gave us the impression it was our fault and we never should have called 911 to have the party stopped. The front desk was rude and unprofessional and the manager never thought it was important enough to call as he had promised to do. We won't be back.
