Location, Location and Views and Peace

What better place to show your niece the hustle and bustle of New York's Times Square - The Doubletree Guest Suites is the perfect place for that.
We checked in at their rather small lobby on the 3rd floor (but who cares - the staff - especially Daniel - was super friendly and helpful.
By the time we reached our suite on the 39th floor our warm signature cookies from the Doubletree were still hot!
The KING suite was spectacular with the views impeccable.
Unfortunately we had to run out to go see the WEST SIDE STORY that night and had no time to see the great sunset.
The theatres are all in walking distance . Great, cheap and most of all convenient.
The room was extremely quiet for such a location and the opening of the windows helped to get some fresh air in and not to depend on too much air-conditioning after a long trans-atlantic flight.
The amenities were plentiful and especially the Wolfgang Puck coffee drew our attention.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the housekeeping staff came to ask if we needed extra shampoo or pillows or basically anything to make our stay even better.
I don't really care for the hustle and bustle around Times Square, but if you do want or must stay in this area, this is the place!

Ooops: The breakfst buffet was divine, and if you have time, als George the chef the special omelette - no need to eat for another 5 hours! guaranteed!
