Quote: DoubleTree Grand Key Resort, Key West, Florida. Photo - DoubleTree Grand Key Resort, Key West, Florida We chose the Doubletree because of its location, accommodations, and my husband works for The Hiltonand since DoubleTrees are owned by Hilton Corp, we get a big a$$ discount. We made the right choice. The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. They have fresh baked cookies at the front desk at all times. We kept going back to ask for more! Our room had 2-queen beds with a balcony. It turned out to be 2 queen beds with a deck! We were on the pool deck and our "balcony" was right by the pool, which was fantastic because we just opened the door, and there we were! The pool area was very nice.

The hotel offers a shuttle to Duval Street, which was also great, and we did take advantage of. The only problem is that its last pick up is at 11:25pm. If you are planning on staying out late in Duval St. you’ll need to take your car, which is what we had to do one night.

Quote: The hotel was everything that we wanted it to be. The staff catered to your every need. Clean, cheery and spacious rooms. The landscape was superb. We ate in the restaurant for each of the meals and went away content with the service and the quality of the food. We will book this hotel again.

Quote: Hotel is a great value, for the price. We booked a room with a king size bed and it was quiet, clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly too. We'd also booked a room with a ""balcony"" but it was about 3 feet deep and only had a small table out there (no room for chairs). We took the chair from the desk out to the balcony but when you sat down, you felt like you were in a small enclosed space because the wall of the balcony was built high (maybe 5 feet). Not a huge deal, but they could have skipped the advertisement of the balcony for this room. The restaurant was great for the buffet breakfast. Nice selection & fresh food. But dinner at this same restaurant was horrible. Heavily salted veggies, and overcooked fish. There was nice outside seating, though, for enjoying drinks after having dinner elsewhere.

Quote: Lovely clean rooms, with big thirsty towels, awesome bedding. Staff was very helpful, especially the front desk. Grounds were very nice, big pool and hot tub. Shuttle to downtown key west. A wonderful experience.
