Be prepared to not get any sleep. The nightclub across the street keeps you up all night! We had an amazing view of the beach. Our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony. There were barely any English channels on the tv. We had a couple of lights out in the room. The sand was rough at the beach. The pool was really nice. The Regency Club was amazing! The best food!!!! There were a lot of animals roaming around. The gym is in a closet, no lie. A lot of people don't speak English. The gift shop was nice and it was reasonable. The travel planner was helpful and booked us on a great day trip to chichen itza. The safe was pretty big. There was a lot of construction going on when we went in the summer of 2007.
