Quote: Cancun View Photo - Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand, Cancun, Mexico Be prepared to not get any sleep. The nightclub across the street keeps you up all night! We had an amazing view of the beach. Our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony. There were barely any English channels on the tv. We had a couple of lights out in the room. The sand was rough at the beach. The pool was really nice. The Regency Club was amazing! The best food!!!! There were a lot of animals roaming around. The gym is in a closet, no lie. A lot of people don't speak English. The gift shop was nice and it was reasonable. The travel planner was helpful and booked us on a great day trip to chichen itza. The safe was pretty big. There was a lot of construction going on when we went in the summer of 2007.

Quote: My husband and I stayed here from Sept. 19-22, 2008. It was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the view was out of this world. There is not much beach but what is there is very pretty. We only ate two meals at the hotel. The breakfast buffet could have been better but only because it was not the food we're used to having. On our last night we had dinner in the Blue Bayou for our anniversay. The food was excellent and it was a very romantic atmosphere. This is the off season so we never had a problem getting a lounge or bed by the pool. Make friends with Jorje, the bellman, he seems to have all the answers and he is always so pleasant and easy to talk with. By the way, the prices in the hotel gift shop are much better than in the markets and without the pressure.

Quote: Went there with my daughter for her ninth birthday, we both had a great time and thought the hotel was excellent, and would definately stay there again. The front desk staff were quite friendly as were the bellboys and pool area staff. The restuarents were very good with a buffet style with a lot of choices, of very good food. My only one complaint would be the pool bar area, where at some stages there was some profanities used quite loudly by other guests enjoying the alcohol but not worrying about children being in the same area, and no-one to tell them to mind their language. Overall a fantastic hotel in a great location, great pools, great beach, and fantastic view from the rooms.

Quote: This is my second visit to this property within a 10 year time span. The new section is gorgeous. This trip was with my college-age daughter. Everything about the accomodations and property was perfect. Very clean, friendly and excellent service. I did miss the breakfast buffet that they used to have during the late 1990's but all things must change. It's one of the largest beaches and nicest properties I have seen for the money. Would definitely stay there again and again.

Quote: We stayed here for vacation from 8/24-8/28. The hotel, property and beach are BEAUTIFUL! Great beach, huge pool, nice people, clean rooms- we had no problems. Only minor complaints would be that the food isn't that exciting and we couldn't find any vending machines or anywhere to get a soda. Terribly minor though! Within walking distance of touristy places ( Senor Frogs, Hard Rock, Carlos and Charlies etc). Would highly recommend!
