Stayed at a Days Inn about 10 minutes from University of Michigan and was able to sample the college life experience.${QuickSuggestions} Be aware that DTW is about 20 miles away from Ann Arbor${BestWay} I rented a car since things were mostly spaced out but Ann Arbor itself is a great walking town as long as you take a shuttle from DTW
