Quote: Sunset Cruise Photo - Tuff Enuff Tours, San Pedro, Belize We took a sunset cruise on a catamaran with about 10 people and had a great time! In case you have never been on a catamaran, the best seats are on the forward "trampoline".

The guides started out by serving rum punch or Belikin beer. Soon our group was feeling no pain and laughing quite a bit! Our hosts then brought out chips and salsa and a wonderful conch ceviche for us to snack on. The ceviche was the best I have ever had in my life!

This was a very nice 2 hour cruise. The final 45 minutes were spent laying on the trampoline looking up at the most beautiful clear sky. The sky was full of stars and it made our cruise very enjoyable.

If you are stressed and in need of some relaxation, this is the tour for you. This needs to be on your "must do" list!

Quote: Cave Tubing River Photo - Tuff Enuff Tours, Belize, Central America This tour was done on the same day as our trip to see the Black Howler Monkeys. Tuff Enuff Tours is very good at customizing things for you so you can maximize your vacation time.

Our Tuff Enuff Tours guide was Ernesto, and he took us for a Belizean lunch of chicken and red beans and rice. The food was wonderful but the salsa is to be used with caution... it is hot!

After lunch we headed towards Jaguar Paw. We finally made it to the "state park" where we would do this tour from. After selecting our inner tubes, we hiked with Ernesto through the rainforest for about 40 minutes. Along the way he was pointing out different plants and trees. Some are medicinal, some poisonous.

We finally reached the river and began a very relaxing float as we viewed the dense jungle foliage along the riverbanks. As we floated into the caves we saw stalactites hanging from the ceiling... this was amazing to float right underneath all this.

About this time it started to get dark in the cave so our guide hooked us together for safety purposes and we all turned on our headlamps. This was a fascinating journey into an area that the ancient Mayans consider to be sacred. If these cave walls could talk... imagine the stories they could tell of the Mayan civilization!

This was a very good tour for anyone who is interested in caves, floating or Mayan history. You will enjoy it very much with your Tuff Enuff guide leading the way!

Quote: Offering a snack Photo - Tuff Enuff Tours, Belize, Central America This trip to Belize was to see animals in their natural environment and the trip to the Community Baboon Sanctuary was one of my highlights! Tuff Enuff Tours arranged for a plane to fly us to the mainland and had someone waiting for us when we arrived. They specialize in personal Service!

Our tour guide with Tuff Enuff Tours, Ernesto, was very entertaining on the way... pointing out different things of interest. When we arrived at the Baboon Sanctuary another guide took us into the rainforest. Before we go any farther, let me clarify a few things: This is not a zoo, the monkeys are not tame and there are no Baboons here. The locals refer to the endangered black howler monkey as a Baboon and that is where the name came from.

We hiked for about an hour through a very dense rainforest in search of monkeys. Our guide was constantly making monkey calls... but we were not having any luck. I was feeling like giving up on our search when the guide found a family of Black Howler Monkeys high in a tree.

Although these are wild animals, they will come down a branch to snatch leaves out of your hand. It was so amazing to be face to face with these primates in the wild. To watch them climb the trees is like nothing you have ever seen in the zoos.

This trip will always be in my memory as I think about feeding the younger black howler monkey. Afterward we visited the very small building that is used as a museum to learn about the importance of rainforest conservation. When the trees are gone, so are the beautiful animals.

The memories of this trip far outweigh the tour cost and will for years to come. If you want to do a mainland tour... you need Tuff Enuff Tours!
