Quote: Superman Tower of Power Photo - Six Flags over Texas, Arlington, Texas Last year my daughter and I got season passes for Six Flags over Texas. This amusement park has lots to offer and when you can come and go as you please it just gets better.

They have added 10 new rides over the last year and although they are mostly carnival fare, the experience is still wholesome and affordable.

My first employment ever was Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. When I finished my three-month tour all those years ago I thought I would not be coming back.  We went 6 times last year.

The park is clean the staff seem kind and approachable for directions. The big thing is that I don't feel I am being gouged at the restaurants and shops. As a matter of fact I bought some Scooby Doo underwear on sale! Maybe I am sharing too much…

Definitely worth the price of admission.

Quote: Woo Wee. I typically love amusement parks but this is the most Ghetto one I have ever been to. We only go because it is local, but last time we went, they ran out, yes ran out (how can you run out of stuff) of Turkey legs! And a fight broke out between adults at one of the food places. It's dirty, it's raggedy, and it's not one of my favorite places to go. They have done a good job at including rides and games for the younger crowd (3-7), but that effort resembles a roving carnival. For $45 a pop plus parking, it's not worth it. I do not recommend this park.

Quote: It's a little hot in the summer and a little cold in the winter, but if you hit it at the right times . . . Six Flags can be a really great time for the whole family. The characters provide great fun for the kids (given they're not afraid of the HUGE cartoon characters) and the park has really done a lot of work in the past few years to weed out the "gangs" of teenagers given a $60 pass and a license to drive the rest of the world crazy (aka the kids that mom & dad dump off at the park for the day so they don't have to deal with them), so it's much more pleasant for families. The shows have gotten a little less entertaining, but they're also shorter which again, works well for families especially with smaller children who cannot sit still for an hour long show (or even 30 minutes for that matter).
