Perhaps their 120 ounce ribeye is palatable... and certainly huge. But my experience at Gregory's showed me that the 22 ounce New York Strip is not the steak to get.

My steak was ordered Medium Well and came to me practically mooing. It was a gorgeous cut of meat, but it was bleeding all over my plate. You think a place that specializes in steaks would know how to cook them. I sent the steak back to be cooked more. It came back several minutes later, still bleeding red. I sent it back a third time and it came back fully cooked... I believe it was microwaved... but it was inedible. It was so tough, I could barely cut it with my STEAK KNIFE. Also, the onion rings that were the selling point for my choice of that steak were missing when the steak was returned to me. Sad.

I would say the waitress was attentive and did a good job, but I can't because a good waitress would have retrieved the manager to take the inedible steak off my bill. When I went to the bathroom because I was so upset over having a bad meal (yes, I am a food snob), my husband told her how bad my steak was and how we were unhappy with it. All she said was that she was sorry and left it at that.

Additionally, my mom ordered the broiled lobster-tails. I believe it was a special priced at $34.99. One tail was edible, but the other one was so mushy, my mom just discarded it.

Overall, a very pricy meal to leave two of four diners unsatisfied.

The location was cute and kitschy, which is why I am giving the place two stars.

Overall, I say order the ribeye. It's their specialty... and perhaps the only thing they know how to cook. My husband and stepdad both ordered one in different sizes... and both were satisfied with their choices.
