Best Things About the Resort:
Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Spacious unit with fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful golf course.

Resort Experience:
Our unit at the Meadow Lake Resort had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, TV, dresser, and large closet. There is also a bathroom with tub and shower, vanity with two sinks and plenty of storage space. There are no hair dryers. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two dressers, and a closet. The second bathroom has a shower/tub, sink, toilet, and a stacked washer and dryer.

The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher and double ceramic sink with a garbage disposal. The kitchen was fully stocked with table service for six and many pots and pans and utensils. There is a starter kit of laundry detergent, one roll of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and trash bags. There is a dining room table that accommodates six people.

The living room has two sofas - one is a queen-sized sleeping sofa, TV with VCR and stereo, and fireplace stocked with wood. There is a porch off the dining room with a table and two chairs and a BBQ grill.

There is air-conditioning in the master bedroom only. We visited in August and we wished they had air conditioning throughout the entire unit. Overall, the timeshare was in very good condition and very clean.

The Recreation Center is open 7am to 10pm. There’s an indoor pool with spa and an outdoor pool with spa. Towels are supplied. The work out room has treadmills, nautilus and exercise bikes. A market and gift shop are inside the recreation center. Video rentals are available for $2 for microwave popcorn and a movie. A certified massage therapist is on staff. There are resort activities scheduled during the week. A concierge is available to help you schedule any outside activities. A restaurant is on-site.

We had a great week at this resort, and I would highly recommend it!

Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
We stayed at the Meadow Lake Resort in Columbia Falls, Montana, from December 28, 2004, to January 2, 2005. We lucked into getting this resort over the Christmas holidays by way of booking at the last minute and booking by points per night, not weekly. We actually booked this resort on December 5, 2005. This was our first booking through RCI, and after repeated calling of the 1-800 number, we finally were able to get a booking together (but that’s a different story).

The Meadow Lake resort is near Kalispell and Whitefish, Montana, and is large and quite beautiful. I can only imagine what a beautiful golf course it must be in the summer. We found front desk staff to be pleasant and always willing to help with questions. Every day there was a list of activities to do at the resort and in the area.

Overall, we had a wonderful time on our holiday. I celebrated my 30th birthday and New Year’s Eve in Montana at the Meadow Lake resort and would definitely go back.

The accommodations were great. Our townhouse included a barbeque and hot tub. Because we were there in the winter, the roads in the resort were icy, but they were sanded and plowed every day. There is also a little store on site that sells milk, butter, etc., in case you run out. The kitchen was quite well stocked and included a dishwasher (a must at anytime). The only things that were missing were robes and extra towels for use with the hot tub.

Best Things About the Resort:
It is located within a half hour drive of Glacier National Park. The people at the resort are friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to get answers for you.

Resort Experience:
There is a golf course right on the property and it is well maintained. They have a lot of activities planned every week. One that we enjoyed was a wine tasting party. They also had a welcoming party with fruit, cheese, and other finger foods. They gave away prizes if you had a lucky number. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Several hot tubs are located throughout the resort. One is right next to the clubhouse and the others are in more secluded areas near the units. The units themselves are spacious and in excellent shape. You can connect to the Internet through the phone line, and if your provider has a local phone number, there is no charge. The restaurant at the clubhouse has excellent dinners.

Best Things About the Resort:
The golf course! Great apartments with a wonderful club facility hosting happy hours, golf events and much more.

Resort Experience:
Meadow Lake is a great facility with spacious apartments. You can spend weeks in the area simply going into Glacier National Park everyday. We visited more than once and hiked to Saint Mary's Falls and Virginia Falls after having to drive around and go into the East side entrance because of the Robert Fire and Trapper Creek Fire at West Glacier. We made it to Logan Pass for more hiking as well.

We got back to the resort each day with enough time for late afternoon golfing. My husband participated in a resort sponsored golf event and his team won. The happy hour afterwards was enjoyable meeting folks from all over the place including Canada.

We took the family up the lift on Big Mountain and hiked down. We visited Big Fork to check out all the shops. One highlight was being in town at the same time as the Northwest Montana Fair featuring the Rodeo with bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronco riding and bull riding. A highlight for us city folks!

Best Things About the Resort:
Plenty of room, nice unit. All the necessities furnished in kitchen.

Resort Experience:
The rooms were first-class. Nice view of golf course and mountains. Had trouble getting VCR to work in one room, but had no problems in the other. Just not VCR savvy. Would return tomorrow if we had vacation time available. Did not golf or ski, so cannot comment on those activities. But we did enjoy the surrounding towns and parks. A great area to relax at. Grocery store nearby with great selections. Restaurants in nearby towns with great food.
