A Long Weekend in Los Cabos

The best reason to go to Los Cabos is for the weather. It's a place to lay out in the sun, enjoy splashing around in the pool, have a few drinks, eat well, and maybe visit a spa. Casa del Mar is the best place in Los Cabos to do these things, and more!${QuickSuggestions} If you're into the nightlife, Cabo San Lucas is a hot place to be. During the day, on the other hand, it's a tourist trap of the highest order. It starts as you leave the airport and almost never lets up. Best piece of advice we got was to book our transport, and activities, in advance and not give the timeshare hawks a chance to sink in their claws. Always keep in the front of your mind in Los Cabos, that anyone offering you anything is really looking for an openning to try and sell you a timeshare!${BestWay} Taxis are wickedly expensive, but they're almost the only transportation available, especially if you stay in the corridor and want to go in to Cabo San Lucas for the nightlife. Many hotels have shuttles that run at specified times to certain locations, but that is fairly limited. I wouldn't recommend renting a car.
