Kissimmee is conveniently located near Orlando but far enough away from the traffic congestion. We chose a great beach spot far from the maddening crowds. Cape Canaveral Seashores was both secluded and beautiful. Warning for those with teenagers: there is no action or people! Our daughters were miserable, but their dad was relieved, since no boys would see them in their bikinis! As for me, I loved the solitude. We stayed at the Vacation Village at Parkway, which was beautiful and spacious, and had awesome grounds for quiet walks. Our unit had the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen in a timeshare. The living room had a big-screen TV. The entire unit was nicely furnished. At night, we would sit out on the balcony and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom while the alligators growled in the creek below - magical.${QuickSuggestions} There are lots of coupon books with discounts to restaurants, shopping, and local fun things, such as miniature golf, etc. We opted to take one of those dreaded timeshare tours and received $75 to a restaurant of our choice.${BestWay} A car is a must.
