Marrakesh is also called the Pink City—well, it is reddish, especially the fabulous city walls around Marrakesh. The Atlas mountains are quite near, but that is only secondary, considering the vibrant atmosphere of the souks and the lively Djemaa el Fna square. Here you will find snake charmers, henna artists, acrobats, orange juice stalls, etc.${QuickSuggestions} If you want to experience this fabulous city, do take your time! There are plenty of cafés around Djemaa el Fna, oftentimes with wonderful terraces, so a thé à la menthe (mint tea) will be the perfect thing to spend your time with!

Stroll around the souks, but don't get lost (and don't get broke!!)—there are so many beautiful things to buy there!${BestWay} Walking is possible in Marrakesh (especially around Djemaa el Fna and the souks), but for longer distances do take a taxi! There are buses, too, but it is very difficult to find the bus stops!

We did go on a ride with a calèche (horse carriage), this was very touristy, but very nice at the same time!
