I discovered this elegant, small hotel when I wasn't happy with the one I had booked - visiting Rome in 2004. The hotel is in a quiet street near to the embassy / government district and within easy walking distance of Spanish steps or Trevi fountain etc. An elegant, attractive foyer & lounge.Single rooms while small are well furnished & quiet, each with a good quality bathroom. Each floor has a lounge area and there is a stunning roof top garden bar where breakfast is served.The staff were particularly helpful, plus they remember your name and speak to guests as they come & go. AND there is a wonderful country-style restaurant round the corner!I have now stayed there 4 times and will be returning with a group of colleagues this year.I recommend this for lone travellers as well as couples / groups.
