Quote: Cottage at Dave's Photo - Dave's Straw Hat Inn, Boracay, Philippines Although Dave's Straw Hat Inn is one of Boracay's newer resorts, it is already earning glowing reports from all who stay there.

The resort itself is quite small, with attractively designed cottages set in a pretty garden. It has earned its good reputation by providing a very high standard of service while managing to keep the prices low. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and welcome their guests like members of the family.

Dave's has a surprising amount of amenities for a budget resort - rooms may include air-conditioning, refrigerator, cable TV, hot water, telephone, and private security box. Guests also have access to the Internet and a barbeque/cooking area and terrace.

The beach area outside Dave’s is peaceful compared with the centre of White Beach, and there are some lovely little bars and restaurants just a stone’s throw away. The main nightlife scene is within easy walking distance.
