Rooms are decorated with period pieces and very comfortable! A few rooms have a shared bath, but that sounds so much worse than it really is (I never even saw the other couple we shared with). The bathroom is kept clean at all times and you'll feel like each time you use it is the first time (they must have someone who sneaks in to clean every time a guest walks out!).
After a day at the beach, or just to refresh yourself, take advantage of the outdoor (and completely closed-in and private) shower. It feels so good after a day on the beach. It's also very convenient because after you check out, you can still enjoy the day, go to the beach, etc. and return to the house to shower before your departure.
