The Majestic Star Inn is a charming bed and breakfast located within walking distance from the beach, shopping and restaurants. The inn was recently renovated but still has not lost its charm. There is still the original molding, wood floors, panels on the ceiling, and windows. The innkeeper did a spectacular job in furnishing the rooms. The bedrooms have a king-size bed, TV with a DVD player, sitting area, and recently renovated bathrooms. The owner even supplies the movies. The bed and bathroom linens are lush, bottled water is sitting on your side table with fresh flowers and a candy dish filled with mints. The owner does try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Every morning is a different menu for breakfast. One day we had crepes filled with fruit as the first course and for the second course we had eggs Benedict. It was just fabulous. Coffee and hot water for tea is at your disposal for most of the day along with pretzels, peanuts and cookies.
At 4pm, it is teatime. It is a lot more than tea. Wine and beer with appetizers and baked goods are supplied everyday. Stay here because you will only need to go out for dinner.
The common area or the living room is very comfortable. You can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a good book. There is an enclosed porch along with an outside area. If it is a little chilly, the enclosed area is heated.
If you stay at the Majestic Star Inn, you will not be disappointed. It is comfortable, charming, and relaxing. The owners are friendly and focus on making your stay a great one.
