Everything about the Hotel had a sense of taste. The Interior Decorating was a bit on the conservative style, but fits the clientele. We got to the Hotel just in time for the wine tasting. It wasn't really a wine tasting, just complimentary decent wine, and a chance to socialize with the other guests in the pleasant Hotel lobby. The staff was very helpful and friendly and everything at the front desk went smoothly. We then went up to our room, which was very nice, though a little small, but one doesn't go to S/F to sit in their hotel room. Valet parking is a huge attribute. The Hotel has a great location a block up from Union Square, which is a good location. There are lots of shopping & eating & drinking options within a few blocks, plus access to major bus & cable car routes. The Hotel is a great price for the area and in one of the most expensive cities around, I would definitely recommend it too my friends.
