Lovers Point is located in that fuzzy area where you can't tell whether you are in Monterey or Pacific Grove. That doesn't matter here. Lovers Point is a famous area for lovers to propose and for weddings to be held.

It seems that the heavens, earth, and the sea all decided to blend perfectly here. All is right with the world when you stop off here for a while.

Although it can be crowded during the summer, during late October, it seems deserted at dusk. That is my favorite time to visit. I like having a place of such beauty and tranquility unspoiled by the murmur of the throngs of tourists that are present in the summer.

If there was ever a coast that could inspire a person to believe in a higher power, the Monterey/Big Sur coastal area has to be that place. It feels as if God himself reached down and blessed the land himself. Truly a spectacular sight.

My photography skills leave much to be desired, so please, visit this place yourself.
