Now this little cabin was really a surprise. I hadn't seen it marked on any of the tourist information, but there it was on the road to Pillsbury Crossing. I suppose people would say that it's not much of a tourist attraction as the interior of the cabin is not open for viewing. What was so extremely unique about this cabin, which must have originally been built in the 1850's or so, was that it was then incorporated intact into a larger house. When the house was finally torn down years later, there stood this little pioneer's cabin.
The cabin is in good repair and is well marked.
