Quote: Moose McGillicuddy's Photo - Moose McGillycuddy's, Lahaina, Hawaii I don’t know about your family, but when we haven’t eaten decently in awhile, we’re not very fun to be around. We were pretty snippy with each other after the 6-hour flight from Phoenix to Maui with nothing to eat but snack food (Thanks, ATA). So even before we checked in at the hotel for our first night on Maui we drove down Front Street in Lahaina looking for a place to eat and get back on an even keel. I’d read decent reviews of Moose McGillicuddy’s and knew my picky-eater son would be able to find something to eat here.

I was craving vegetables and ordered the Fajita Salad. The fajita-seasoned chicken topping the salad was excellent. The salad itself was just ok, even though it contained some of my favorite salad ingredients: romaine lettuce, corn, black beans, and crushed tortilla chips.

My daughter ordered the Oriental Salad Wrap. It was very flavorful and fresh tasting. A little too much celery, though.

My husband’s Shrimp Fettuccini was "pretty good; not excellent." My son chose the Enchiladas. His assessment was that the enchiladas were good, but two weren’t enough. Since he doesn’t like Spanish rice or black beans, which were served on the side, I can understand his point. Two little enchiladas don’t fill a hungry 15-year-old boy!

Quote: This restaurant offers a variety of foods. Since I live in San Antonio, Texas I was beginning to miss my good ole Mexican food. We had a couple and had a Mexican meal for two that ended up costing a total of about $15 with iced tea for drinks. The food was delicious. In fact, I liked their version of fajitas better than any restaurant in San Antonio. A laid back bar/pub/grill.

Quote: This place is fun! There is dancing at night and a breakfast that is to die for. And it's cheap, especially the Bloody Mary's and screwdrivers. What a way to start the day.

Quote: This is the place to go if you want a good, inexpensive meal with large portions. They also have a large bar and dance floor with nightly dancing. The food was great. They have all the typical bar food, like burgers, sandwiches, great appetizers, pasta, salads... you name it. I had a tasty chicken sandwich with a tall frosty Foster's, all for like $10. My wife had a burger. We also had some potato skins that were loaded and then danced it off on their dance floor. It was our cheapest meal there. If you are in Lahaina and just want a fun place to eat and drink, go to Moose's.

Quote: Moose McGillicuddy's Photo - Moose McGillycuddy's, Lahaina, Hawaii Located in downtown Lahaina, on the second floor on Front Street, Moose McGillycuddy is a great place for lunch, dinner, and early-bird specials for breakfast, and at night, they have live entertainment most evenings. I only ate breakfast here. It was one of my favorite places for breakfast. They offer a wide variety of eggs and pancakes, with a selection of breakfast meat. I love the Portuguese sausage. It is outstanding. Look out for coupons, and you can get breakfast before a certain time for only $1.99. That is a great deal anywhere.
