Quote: Jolly Roger Inn, WEst End Tortola Photo - Jolly Roger Inn, Tortola, British Virgin Islands The Jolly Roger Inn is both a pub-style restaurant and small hotel located at the West End of Tortola, next to the ferry terminal at Soper's Hole. The inn has five small rooms and is an easy place to stay if you are just passing through for a night and aren't fussy about where you lay your head.

The upper enclosed bar/restaurant is cozy with its half-dozen tables and open kitchen. The lower open-air bar sits adjacent to the water and hosts live music on weekends and has a full-service bar, a barbeque-style kitchen, and several tables. The service is laid-back island-style, and the food is fantastic! The burgers are possibly the best on the island, and people come from OTHER islands for their Saturday-night jerk prime-rib dinner specials. This whole area can be quite claustrophobic and jammed with people during boat events, and forget about parking if you come later on a weekend evening. The place can get a little rowdy, but it’s still not as crazy at the Bomba Shack!

It is about a 7-minute walk across the bridge to Soper's Hole Marina and Wharf, where the "other" West End institution, Pusser's Landing, is located.
