In between Merendero and Oasis (see separate dining entries) is another restaurant run by two younger ladies called El Rancho. We tried their breakfast here and I preferred the way they serve their eggs in the morning - sunny side up with chopped red and green bell peppers. Nothing beats eggs and salsa before 10am.

Guests of Horizonte Cabins (see separate entry) usually end up at Oasis for breakfast, but walking a few yards to El Rancho was a good change for us in the mornings because it was less crowded (they do not have a parking space for visiting surfers) and their picnic tables by the water provided us a relaxing start everyday.
