Magnifico Paris!

Lines at check-in were long, but went by smoothly. Try tipping the front desk person to see if you can get an upgraded view room of the Belagio and the Eifel Tower. If you get the right person, it works. We upgraded to the red room and were quite happy. In comparision to the blue room, the red room has new furnishings, flat screen tv, and a more modern flair. Friends of ours stayed in the blue room and it just looked runned down. Be prepared to shell out major $$$ for food and beverages...but that is all over the strip in Vegas, if you want decent food. We ate at the buffet for breakfast, which I do not recommend! The other days we just had pastries from the little cafe and they were excellent! The pool was very nice. However, if going in the mornings, it doesn't get sunshine until about 11 and the pool is not heated. If it's hot enough, you won't mind, believe me! The hotel is fairly easy to navigate. Usual obsticals of having to walk through the gauntlet of machines, people, and time share people, who are oh so annoying!!! Atmospher is very elegant and very thoughtful. Paris is centerally located on the strip, so it is very easy to get from one hotel to another. Be prepared to do a lot of walking!!! Very good shoes are needed! A few blocks down from Paris is the half-priced ticket booth for shows & events, however, they don't offer all of the main-stream shows. If you aren't that picky, there are some good deals to be had. Overall, it was an excellent stay! Can't recommend enough!
