Emporio Reforma

A medium size hotel, with personal, friendly staff. The location was very good, near the Zona Rosa and within easy walking distance of Centro Historico and the Zocalo. We (couple and 11yo son) booked a "prestige" room with two queen beds, and while it was a little on the small size, we were not disappointed overall. The room and the hotel in general were clean and well maintained. We felt very safe in the hotel and around the surrounding area. We were told that Internet was provided to guests for one hour per day, but it did not appear to be a problem to keep using the net for as long as you needed (note that the Internet was fairly slow). We booked a couple of tours through the hotel and they were well priced, with honest advice about the relative merits of booking a tour with a hotel taxi or through a tour company. While not usually a fan of eating in hotels, we had two dinners at Emporio due to returning late from tours, etc, and found the food to be very reasonable for both quality and price. Grea value for money and we would definitely return.
