Just OK

Other than the fact the the Metro station is directly across the street there would be no compelling reason to stay here. I stayed here as it was close to where I had business and the fact the the F1 Grand Prix was this weekend and made rooms very scarce and expensive. The room was overdue for a makeover and new mattress. This was a former Radisson hotel and reminded me of an old Hoiliday Inn. The hotel is next to the freeway so there is some noise. It wasn't bad for me as my room did not face the freeway. The room could use some more soundproofing. There are very limited dining options close by. The breakfest is OK. If you have to stay at the hotel for dinner then piizza is the best option. My advice, for 2.75, take the metro to the McGill Station, where there are plenty of dining options at the mall or in town. If your'e a runner you need to go about 2 km to get over the bridge to run by the river. The gym didn't open until 6:30am which made it useless for me. Having the metro station nearby was great as it beats driving in Montreal. Also the Metro station has small grocery store and a few food options. Overall I would look for another hotel next time but it wouldn't kill me to stay here again.
