Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport

I was a little concerned about staying here after reading some past reviews. However, I had a wonderful visit! My stay lasted five nights. The hotel shuttle to and from LAX was a great benefit. It takes about 10 minutes to get from hotel to the airport. My room and the Sleep Number bed were clean and comfortable. It is true that the insulated windows block out the airplane noise while still providing a beautiful view. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was convenient for getting to a shopping mall and Manhatten Beach using the great free Ocean Express trolley. I was also able to easily walk to the nearby LA bus system transportation center to go all over the LA area for a $5 daily bus pass. One day I booked a travel package to Universal Studio through the hotel services. I ate at all of the Raddison eating establishments and had great food at all of them. Room service food was very delicious too! The fitness center has been moved to a small room on the lobby floor. It is very small and consists of app. six machines. The pool is not very fancy, but adequate. It is true that there are not other places to eat fast food besides the nearby Subway. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and my stay. I would stay there again if I visited LA.
