About Me: Over the last five or six years I've done a fair bit of travelling around the globe and in particular, visiting countries which are culturally, very different from Scotland. Usually the choice of destination has involved a spur of the moment decision like '....lets go there....' and then we have! Such destinations have included Russia, Siberia, Mongolia and China on the Trans-Siberian Railway, Namibia, Baltic Republics and The Balkans. I plan to add significantly to my journal on Puglia (heel of Italy) over the next few weeks as well as adding details of a trip to Southern Dalmatia (Croatia) and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
