There's nothing more satisfying than traveling independently throughout the globe.

About Me: In October, 2007, my wife and I wisely downsized our life by moving into a smaller house and quitting our jobs. Beginning in Indonesia, we spent 372 days traveling overland around the world (by boat, bus and train - no flying), working our way north to Beijing, crossing Mongolia/Russia by train, wandering through the Baltic states and Eastern Europe to Rome, roaming back up to The Netherlands and returning to America across the Atlantic on a freighter. While on the road we maintained a record of our adventures at www.pfeffer.vox.com.
